I love July!

So...I have very sad news, my camera got STOLEN last week. I'm so sad! So, everyone put your name and phone # in permanent marker on your camera, download your photos on a monthly basis, and never leave it alone!

Anyway, here are some of the last pics I downloaded before my loss (We are missing 4th of July, camping trip, and Utah trip) )-:

I love my 3 boys: They are so cute

Here is the standard Tyler outfit: His hat, his American flag, notice the favorite glove, and the cowboy boots. I love his little...BIG personality.Tyler wanted to hold Easton the other day. He won't be able to do it much longer. I thought it was hilarious.
I got some pics from July from Ileen's camera! Here are some more highlights:

4th of July Parade in Rupert Idaho!!! Always a must! Look at our happy faces!

Ty got LOTS of candy (-:
4th of July morning there is always a "COATS MAN" triathlon. I did all 3 legs (without training) I was a little sore the next day (-:. It was way fun! Here are all the participants
Here's my fans after the race. (-: Tyler looks thrilled. Easton's content, Luke was the best, and check out that hair.

SUMMER IS HERE!

So... I actually put these pictures together at the beginning of last month, but didn't post them. Thus the title of this post Summer...is now 1/2 over! Well, So far we've LOVED the warm, especially with 2 little boys. I love watching little Easton explore the outside world. We've gone swimming, sat in the grass, gone on bike rides, walks, camping, and on trips to Utah. Here are a few of June's highlights:

We were visiting Boise, and were on a picnic. Suddenly we looked up at the sun and it had a large ring around it. We're pretty sure it was a Rainbow...? CRAZY!

Last month my sisters (Lauren and Michele) and my mom decided to go on a 100 mile bike ride (Little Red Riding Hood) in Utah. I was REALLY dreading the occasion, BUT I'm SOOO glad I went, it was actually a blast! And we all crossed the finish line alive. It was an ALL day event, but there was some real bonding! My highlight was blasting "Les Mis" as we were riding and telling funny stories. I love my sisters and mom.

As Michele and I were crossing the state line we decided to stop and take a picture. I had a little backpack on and my camera was in the bottom buried by LOADS of the free power bars, fruit snacks, energy gummies, and granola bars. So, as I was pulling out handfuls of goodies a cop and a few other men stopped to see if we needed help as I was shoving all the stash back in my bag. The Cop took this picture for us (-: And didn't arrest us for hording the food.

We went on a family trip to Boise. It's beautiful up there. Here is me and my wonderful Hubby.

Family pictures are difficult these days, This is about as good as it gets (-:

Tyler really loves his brother, and surprisingly, after all the ROUGHNESS Easton Really loves Tyler too. Easton just watches Tyler and smiles. Tyler tickles him, blows on his belly and makes him laugh every day.

Here's my little sweety. Easton is a gem. He's mild tempered, happy and calm. I just love squeezing his thighs and kissing his cheeks (-:

Picnic in the park with my Grandparents. Here it is my Grandma Lilleba's birthday.
Tyler is a crack up. These days it is SOOOO hard to keep my house clean because Tyler is constantly changing his clothes, playing dress-up, and pretending with EVERYTHING. Today in church his crayons were basketballs and Easton's car seat was the hoop. Ya, not very reverent. He likes to wear my black nylons and be "black spiderman", He wears a green glove and is "green goblin" He loves wearing bowls on his head and any shoes on his feet.

Here's a pic of me and my papa. He's wonderful. (-:

Don't Blink

Lately my normal day consists of waking up at 5:00, doing homework until 8:00 when Tyler and Easton wake up we snuggle on the couch for 15 minutes, then we start with breakfast, getting ready, cleaning, going to the library, play group, the park, bike rides, or whatever else we want to get out of the house. Then it's reading time and nap time for both kids 1:30-4:30, I get study time in for 3 more hours. Then kids wake up (we snuggle), cook dinner, and then daddy comes home and the evening usually has something in store as well. Kids go to bed around 9:30, Luke and I have maybe 30 min-1 hour together, and it's on to another day...

I have been thinking a lot about the country song "Don't Blink". I feel like some times life is so busy that I don't take the time to stop and smell the flowers, watch the sunset, stare at the stars or take naps with my children. Sometimes I look at my little Easton and my little Tyler and try to memorize their faces, voices, smells... They are growing up so fast, and I want to cherish the precious children that they are. I hope I never forget their innocents, their purity, their love, and their sweet personalities.
Easton is Mr. Easy Going. He usually wakes up and coos in his bed. I walk in and he has a big smile ready for me. He likes to be awake for a bit, look around and then eat a little later. Easton has bright blue eyes, silvery hair, and the softest, purest skin you'll ever touch. He usually smells like baby shampoo with a little sour milk (that he likely spit up and is fermenting in his neck folds). He has a strong, tight little body, and loves to stiffen his legs and kick. He drools through several bibs each day, he loves to spit and blow bubbles when he coos. He will usually sit in his chair and stare at me and then the second we make eye contact I get a big smile as drool falls out of his mouth, down his chin, and on to his already soaked bib. Easton has such a precious spirit about him. I'm sooooo BLESSED to have this perfect little boy in our lives right now he is just what we need.

Here is Easton's happy look He doesn't show a ton of expression unless you catch him at the right time, he'll have fun smiling and cooing, and occasionally give a little chuckle.

Easton and Grandpa Dave for his birthday. We went to Tucanos and this is right after the waiters came out and sang him the happy birthday song with all sorts of instruments. Easton was near tears.

I had to include this picture. This is Easton and I in front of Shoshone falls, it was AMAZING. This picture doesn't do it justice.

Me and my 2 little boys. Then we move on to Tyler Clyde Coats. Tyler is such a joy. This kid makes me laugh out loud every day. Tyler is a strong, short, little firey boy. He is always full of energy but also full of love. He occasionally will stop me and say "mom, I wanna hug" or "I wanna snuggle" He keeps busy and occupied, he is a man with a constant mission. Tyler is also very social. He will occasionally stop me and say "mom, let's talk" or he will ask me "how's your day?". Tyler and I went around to visit some people the other week, and he is interactive and friendly to everyone. I am SOOOO grateful for my Tyler, he is my little friend.
Here is spiderman and daddy in a cave by Shoshone falls. Tyler LOVES his daddy. I'm so glad that he has a daddy that plays with him, wrestles him, teaches him man things, and loves him.

I love Tyler's smile.
Tyler and I have had lunch in the swing set hut several times (-: He calls it his house.
Me and my love. Lots of times my focus is primarily on my 2 busy rascals, but I need to take the time to cherish my precious husband as well. Luke works so hard for me and the boys. He's very involved in work, church, and starting a new softball team. Luke is wonderful to me, patient with me, and helps me accomplish all my hopes and dreams. We have a marvelous life, and need to take a step back and see the little beauties around us.

Growing up...

I'm so proud of Tyler, he is learning so much these days, it's funny to see what he comes up with every day. He has a HUGE imagination, and a hilarious personality. If he's bored he'll pretend his fingers are people, or become a monster/dinosaur...he makes me laugh all the time. He also wants to be part of everything. He wanted to help us build a swing set this weekend and was right there in the middle of it, trying to help, he always has to be on my lap while I nurse Easton, he cooks with me, he cleans with me, and is a very involved little boy. We love our little Tyler boy.

Tyler is awesome at drawing people these days... head first, then 2 eyes, then a mouth, 2 ears, a belly, arms, 2 hands with fingers and a thumb, legs with feet, hair, and then a nose. That's right!

2 1/2 weeks ago we started potty training for the second time. Tyler was partially potty trained and decided he liked his diaper. Well 2 1/2 weeks ago we had a "potty party day" I made cupcakes, we blew out candles, there were a LOT of bribes laying all around the toilet, we had all sorts of sticker charts and pictures...

The day started off great...We opened up all kinds of Undies: Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Cars, Incredibles, Nemo...Then it came time to potty. Talk about learning patience!!! I wanted to pull my hair out and scream and give up as a mother!!! However, after about 3 days...it started to click.

Now he thinks it's fun to potty in different potties, standing up or sitting down. He likes to pee on trees, and he get's so excited to poop that he will go 5-6 times a day (-: We're still working on nap time/sleep time potty.

Tyler's best friend...seriously. One legged BUZZ

Tyler and the Easter Bunny (Grandma Bernie)...YES he is wearing a dress. Grandma has dress ups, and Michele was getting ready for Prom, so Tyler helped get her in the mood.

Tyler does need to work on his Easter Hunt skills... He got about 4 eggs at the community hunt. Good thing for Grandma Ileen, there was much more Easter the following day.
