I LOVE my boys

It's been a couple of weeks. Last week I had to go to Independence, MO for the entire week (childless) for some online classes that I am taking toward my Masters degree. It was surprisingly fun to get out and meet my classmates (from all over the U.S.) I also got to learn suturing, casting, other procedures, and learn in-depth assessment techniques (prostate exam is definitely a highlight) j/k. Anyway, It was good to go and learn, but it was GREAT to come back to my WONDERFUL little family of boys.
Here is the back of Graceland University, the school I am attending.

Here are my online/phone friends from Graceland. They are from Guam, Las Vegas, and North Carolina.

My first cast(-:

My wonderful mom watched my 2 boys while I was gone. It was SOOOO nice to not worry about them being loved and cared for. Here she is with her 4 grandchildren! The posterity is growing fast!

Here are my 3 handsome boys. The boys on this chair are the pride and joy of my life.

Tyler LOVES Easton SOOOOO much. He is a little overbearing sometimes but his face lights up when he sees his "little brother". Here is Tyler being a Monkey (this is Easton's Halloween Costume 8 months from now, but Tyler is wearing it in for him/stretching it out).

Tyler's favorite way to get woken up is if I bring Easton in and say that he wanted to see him. Tyler immediately embraces Easton and kisses him all over.

Story time is a little squishier these days...(yes, Tyler STILL loves a bottle prior to sleeping... he's 2 1/2 we brush his teeth though, I swear!)

Rollercoaster of ups and downs...

Last week I was considering writing a blog about the "terrible 2's". Tyler refused to take naps, he was slightly sick (and coughing on the baby), he did exactly opposite that I told him, had a constant high pitch whine to his voice, stealing the baby's pacifier, and we pretty much gave up on poo poo potty training. I kept telling myself that I needed to see the good and enjoy this crazy journey.

This week my little boys have been wonderful. Tyler is the sweetest brother. He is always so happy to see Easton, he asks about him first thing in the morning, he snuggles next to him, strokes his hair, kisses his head about 50 times/day, and holds his hand. It's those moments I feel like this is all worth it!

The other day Easton was laying on Ty's lap and got hiccups. Determined to help, Tyler told me to get his bubble gun and so he could shoot all the hiccups away. Easton would hiccup, and Tyler would "shoot" it with the gun. Kinda funny, but it was sweet.

We've really been staying inside a lot because of the weather and sicknesses around. It's good, but it can be really hard (for me and Tyler). We've seen a lot more play dough, crayons, finger paints, and movies these days. We're ready for spring!

I'm SOOOOO glad Tyler has a daddy that comes home and wrestles with him. He NEEDS it!

Photo shoot

We got Easton's pics taken on Saturday from Marissa, he was an angel. Tyler was really good too, and the kissing on the head was all Tyler's natural loving self (-: Here's the family...

Week 1

Here is Easton a couple of hours ago. He's already growing so fast. It's amazing how quick they change.

Ok, so I've decided that now that I have 2 boys scrapbooking is going to be a little too difficult. I want to TRY to keep my blog updated so that I can put it into an online book and print one off for Me, one for Tyler, and one for Easton. I think that would kill 2 birds with one stone right? Ok, enough of me thinking out loud. Here is the update:
First off, My mom and sister Lauren stayed here last week with me. It was WONDERFUL to have them, and I already don't know how I'm going to balance my 2 1/2 year old and newborn. The most significant part of their stay is that my mom took Tyler out one of the days, bought him some "big boy undies" and "all-a-dollar" toys, and Tyler is 100% "pee pee" potty trained, and about 50% "poo poo" trained. I had no intentions of potty training after a baby but it's working out quite well since we pretty much stay inside all the time these days.

I LOVE this precious little boy!

My mom and Easton

here's the baby crew that were here earlier this week. Tyler, then Lauren's baby Bailey, Easton and Tyler's new doll (-:

YES...4 months later he's still dressing up as Spiderman...Tyler has been a very nice big brother though, he loves Easton, kisses his hair and holds his feet and hands. So far it's going well. 2 children definitely adds a new dimension to life though!

Ha Ha! Tyler and Easton both after baths. Family resemblance?

Easton Sunbathing. He was High/Moderate risk for jaundice, but is doing just fine now.

Here is bath #2, bath #1 was a sponge bath, and his expression was quite opposite of this. Easton is so calm and so sweet (so far). He probably cries for approx 30 seconds every 24 hours, he gets up every 3 hours to eat, he loves to just sit in his little chair and look around. He's just a sweetie. He makes me just want to turn on piano music and snuggle him. I love looking at his peaceful innocent face, and smelling his perfect baby scent. I forgot how much I love each stage.
