We are still ALIVE!

Ok, I am in definite need of an update! I’m sure you are very excited to hear what we have been up to the last 4 months… Ok, here we go…
First off, I have somewhat of an excuse for not writing, it’s because I started taking classes toward a master’s degree, and every minute Tyler is sleeping, I do homework. That’s not a very good excuse, but that’s where I have been. The classes have been great so far, I love to learn, and I finished my first semester! Only 8 more to go (-:

Luke is doing great! He started doing P90X (a crazy workout program that you do for 90 days and are supposed to be ripped at the end). He’s been dedicated, he’s keeping busy with work and projects around the house (we are going to finish our garage and paint the bathroom next).

Ok, now for Tyler… He’s a little sponge, he soaks up everything he sees/hears. He’s my little friend and he’s turning into a real little boy. We have so much fun! A few new things with Tyler are:
His Father has discovered his son’s future career (I’m sure he’s not bias…right?)

Tyler may go in to the arts… He actually REALLY loves to draw, paint, and sculpt (play dough). He loves to draw dogs, bubbles, balls, bats, daddy, and bugs.

He is ABSOLUTELY obsessed with reading books. I could read to him for 3 hours and he would be saying “more! More! Choo Choo, Doggie, Monkey…” (meaning he wants to read about trains, dogs…)

He’s SUPER obsessed with Shoes…especially my red high heals…his dad doesn’t really like that(-:

We had Christmas…(is it too late to write that?)

And Easter… (in the house it was FREEZING with several inches of snow)

Lauren got married in December! To her best friend from High School-Devin.

My WONDERFUL little brother Josh went on a Mission last week to Tampa, FL; I am sooooo Proud of him. He’s always been a great example to me; he’s a happy, friendly, and hardworking. He will be an amazing missionary.

We took a trip to independence, MO. It was for my schooling, but we saw some good Mormon sites (this is Liberty Jail Behind Me), and a FASCINATING Art Museum (That's Monet behind Luke).

Maybe Tyler could ALREADY be professional (his artwork looks pretty close to this one!)

Well, that about sums things up! We are happy. But we are ESPECIALLY happy that the weather is warming up. Tyler and I have spent the last 2 days outside and it’s been beautiful. Hope everyone is well! Maybe I’ll try to keep up on the Blogging…Maybe (-:

You're alive. Wow Tyler, nice batting skills! Like father, like son. I don't think I ever saw Luke growing up when he wasn't swinging a pretend bat or flexing in the mirror.

Man, that video made my day. Tyler is my pride and joy. I liked it when Luke laughed and Tyler looked up at him and laughed. Then they both got back to the business of hitting.

Tyler was also whispering something to himself before he would hit....what was he mumbling? Hilarious.

You look great Lindsey! Glad you and your family are well. Tyler is such a cute little guy! Tell Lauren congrats for me. My brother Tyler got married in December, and he and his wife are due to have a baby in October. It's kind of crazy how everyone is growing up.
