The past 8 months...

So... I know it’s been FAR too long since I’ve written last, I’m in NEED of a desperate update (that last statement is a common opening line to my journal entries too)... BUT, we have been WELL the last 8 months. I love my sweet husband and marvelous little boys. My little family keeps my life exciting, worthwhile, and wonderful. So, I guess we can cut to the chase... All I REALLY talk about on my blogs is my 2 little boys (you’d never guess what’s going on with me or Luke)... So,

TYLER... Tyler is 3 ½. He is SUCH a joy. I’ve heard people say it’s the terrible 3’s... I disagree. I think 3 is wonderful. Tyler is FULL of excitement, imagination, and purpose. He ALWAYS is “busy” whether he is saving the world, building a city, collecting weapons to kill monsters, striping down to undies to be superman, squeezing into his 2T spiderman costume, or spinning a web on green goblin. He’s also occupied these days playing with friends, going to preschool or Sunbeams, he also enjoys painting his toenails or coloring pictures of superheros. Tyler is sweet. He has a good heart. He LOVES life, he loves people, he is curious, but cautious, and just is a fun loving boy.

EASTON... that’s where the mischievousness begins. This boy wears me out. He is 16 months old. He is so funny, but SO dangerous. If you don’t want him to find ONE thing in the entire house, he will find it. His favorite things to do are: make messes, empty mommy’s drawers, throw food on the floor, eat dirt and sand, and rocks, and anything else that is discusting that is small enough to suck on for a little while, he loves to run into the middle of the road, and splash in the toilet. He also really enjoys unrolling the toilet paper and eating it. A few other things about Easton. He’s finally saying “baba” and “roar”, he walks around very well, and he does this crazy violent rocking at all times of the day when he is on all fours. He will rock at 2 a.m., whenever music gets on, or any other time he needs comfort. It’s really funny to witness. Anyway, despite his dangerous intuition, this boy is a sweetie... it’s fun to see his little personality shine. I enjoy him, he is a beautiful baby.

As for Luke and I... we are good (-: Luke is a WONDERFUL husband and father, the boys (especially Tyler) adore him. I am doing well too. I am finishing up my masters degree this year (Wahoo!) That is my excuse for no blog updates (for a long time). But we’re chugging through and enjoy hard work (-: LIFE IS GOOD!
