Here is a picture of Super Spider Doggie Ty. My momma made this for Tyler. Well, we've had an interesting March. We actually left for Utah after Easton's blessing and stayed there for 10 days while Luke was on a business trip. It was an awesome week to spend with my family. Sometimes I wish I had a mother being my mother at home. It's SOOOO nice to be cooked for, and have my mom watch my kids, and have someone to talk to.
Anyway, we actually had quite a scare with my mother 2 Sundays ago. I was going to get ready and my mom offered to watch Easton for me. Well, I heard a breathy noise and looked over at my mother passed out in bed. She was gray and unconscious. I yelled at her and yelled for help just to remember no one was around except for my 2 boys. While calling 911 I was feeling for a pulse, with no pulse. Well, about 45 seconds passed and she came to. My dad walked in the room and stated that she passed out prior that morning. We went straight to the ER. She had another fainting episode while doing paperwork and they got her in to a room. I was in the room with my mom and she said, "Lindsey, I feel light headed", she fainted again and her heart went completely asystole (or flat line) for one minute. It was a really scary experience. To make a long story short, she had a procedure done called a cardiac ablasion, she is on a medication, and needs to do some lifestyle modification (like eat more salt and exercise less) Interesting... anyway, the doctor caring for her is the best electrophysiologist in the nation. So, hopefully she is taken care of. He attributed the problem to "hyperactive vasovagal sycope" Basically, the nerve that lowers blood pressure and heart rate, is very hypersensitive and caused this to happen. Hopefully no more experiences like this.
Well, I definitely feel like experiences like this just remind me how short life can be. And that I always want to live a good life and be kind to the people I love. My mother has been doing VERY well the last 1 1/2 weeks.

Mommy and Super spider Doggie Ty.

My 2 crazy boys (normally Easton is calm, and Tyler is wild)

So, Easton is looking REALLY close to how Tyler looked. Guess whose blank stare is who...
Tyler or Easton?

Tyler or Easton?

Ok, first is Eason, second is Tyler. Similar blank stare huh?

Family came to visit this week. We got to hang out with Kris, Emily, Max and Baby Will. We played hard! In the midst of things, I don't think I got one good picture of Tyler and Max, BUT... Here's a pic of Will and Easton. Easton is catching up Size Wise!

Tyler and Max here's the best pic I have (besides the nakey tub pictures) Max is jumping in the back ground.

Easton's Blessing

Well, Easton got blessed this morning! He's officially Easton Ronnie Coats. We had a great day. My Family drove up from Utah, and Luke's family all came and even went to all of church with us. I'm so glad to be part of such a wonderful, supportive family! Thank you everyone!
Here are all his priesthood relatives. Thank you MEN!!

Me and Easton. He's an angel!!

My brothers and sisters all drove from UT and left at 5:00 am. Thanks guys!

Here are the awesome cousins!

Grandpa and Grandma!

Normally I would display Easton's blessing outfit. However, right now it is drying by the sink. Of Course they always have to Explode when they are wearing white (I'm double diapering next child). Easton was given an adorable knit little outfit with a vest and bowtie from Ileen (I'll have to take a picture later)...at least his explosion was after church. Anyway, Ileen gave us this outfit as a gift, it's Luke's blessing outfit! Isn't that cute!! It's got a train on it!

So... besides blessing stuff, Easton is doing wonderful! I couldn't have wished for a sweeter baby (maybe he'll be a hard teenager to make up for it) Anyway, he sleeps from 9:30-7:00 (waking for 10 minutes), he is calm and content, if he's crying, I usually can just talk to him or hug him for 30 seconds and he's fine, and now he gives me these little mild smiles. He's usually a little smiley when he wakes from his naps. I love this little baby, he's so wonderful!!

Tyler is doing great! Since we're spending more time indoors these days, he's spent a lot of time on his little craft table. He's learning to draw people, he drew this "man" all by himself the other day. His arms are big because "he wants a hug"

IMAGINATION

Tyler's imagination is hilarious these days. He'll sit in his high chair and play with his monster carrots or people apples and give them all baths in the punch. He'll pretend he's a painter with his peanut butter and make a picture on his high chair. He'll sit in the bathtub for an entire hour having his toys all line up and talk to each other. He'll wear daddy's hat or mommy's shoes, and then suddenly he's daddy/mommy. He'll peel a banana and tell me he's taking it's dress off--and then dance the banana around while singing "nakey nakey banana". Tyler is often times "super Ty" or "spider Ty", he'll spray webs on mommy or daddy in order to tie us up. (sometimes when we discipline him and are about to put him in time out, he quickly turns into Spider Ty and attempts to spray webs on us to prevent the punishment). Numerous occasions I will have to get a bowl of Cereal for Tyler, and a bowl of cereal for Buzz Lightyear. Sometimes the only way I'll get Tyler to sleep is if he pretends to be baby Easton (Tyler will not talk, not cry, and close his eyes. He pretends so well that he soon falls asleep). He makes me laugh out loud every day. I love it!

Tyler and Megzl. Drinking GREEN Smoothies. We have one every day. I call it a green milkshake, put a straw in it, and Tyler likes it like Dairy Queen.

I'm slightly obsessed with these Green smoothies these days, and I crave them every day. If anyone wants to try a good healthy snack that your kids may eat:
BLEND WELL IN BLENDER: 1 apple (unpeeled), 2 oranges (peeled), 1 banana, 1 med carrot, handful of Kale, handful of spinach, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt, and ICE. We all LOVE them (-:

I LOVE my boys

It's been a couple of weeks. Last week I had to go to Independence, MO for the entire week (childless) for some online classes that I am taking toward my Masters degree. It was surprisingly fun to get out and meet my classmates (from all over the U.S.) I also got to learn suturing, casting, other procedures, and learn in-depth assessment techniques (prostate exam is definitely a highlight) j/k. Anyway, It was good to go and learn, but it was GREAT to come back to my WONDERFUL little family of boys.
Here is the back of Graceland University, the school I am attending.

Here are my online/phone friends from Graceland. They are from Guam, Las Vegas, and North Carolina.

My first cast(-:

My wonderful mom watched my 2 boys while I was gone. It was SOOOO nice to not worry about them being loved and cared for. Here she is with her 4 grandchildren! The posterity is growing fast!

Here are my 3 handsome boys. The boys on this chair are the pride and joy of my life.

Tyler LOVES Easton SOOOOO much. He is a little overbearing sometimes but his face lights up when he sees his "little brother". Here is Tyler being a Monkey (this is Easton's Halloween Costume 8 months from now, but Tyler is wearing it in for him/stretching it out).

Tyler's favorite way to get woken up is if I bring Easton in and say that he wanted to see him. Tyler immediately embraces Easton and kisses him all over.

Story time is a little squishier these days...(yes, Tyler STILL loves a bottle prior to sleeping... he's 2 1/2 we brush his teeth though, I swear!)

Easton and Daddy, Quality time.
