Week 1

Here is Easton a couple of hours ago. He's already growing so fast. It's amazing how quick they change.

Ok, so I've decided that now that I have 2 boys scrapbooking is going to be a little too difficult. I want to TRY to keep my blog updated so that I can put it into an online book and print one off for Me, one for Tyler, and one for Easton. I think that would kill 2 birds with one stone right? Ok, enough of me thinking out loud. Here is the update:
First off, My mom and sister Lauren stayed here last week with me. It was WONDERFUL to have them, and I already don't know how I'm going to balance my 2 1/2 year old and newborn. The most significant part of their stay is that my mom took Tyler out one of the days, bought him some "big boy undies" and "all-a-dollar" toys, and Tyler is 100% "pee pee" potty trained, and about 50% "poo poo" trained. I had no intentions of potty training after a baby but it's working out quite well since we pretty much stay inside all the time these days.

I LOVE this precious little boy!

My mom and Easton

here's the baby crew that were here earlier this week. Tyler, then Lauren's baby Bailey, Easton and Tyler's new doll (-:

YES...4 months later he's still dressing up as Spiderman...Tyler has been a very nice big brother though, he loves Easton, kisses his hair and holds his feet and hands. So far it's going well. 2 children definitely adds a new dimension to life though!

Ha Ha! Tyler and Easton both after baths. Family resemblance?

Easton Sunbathing. He was High/Moderate risk for jaundice, but is doing just fine now.

Here is bath #2, bath #1 was a sponge bath, and his expression was quite opposite of this. Easton is so calm and so sweet (so far). He probably cries for approx 30 seconds every 24 hours, he gets up every 3 hours to eat, he loves to just sit in his little chair and look around. He's just a sweetie. He makes me just want to turn on piano music and snuggle him. I love looking at his peaceful innocent face, and smelling his perfect baby scent. I forgot how much I love each stage.

Introducing EASTON COATS

A new little boy came into our lives this Thursday the 6th. Welcome Easton Ronnie Coats! He weighed 6 lbs 14 oz, and was 19 inches long. He's our little angel, the delivery all went really well and he has been a joy to have. It's amazing how easy it is to love him.

Tyler is a proud big brother. Tyler's been saying all month that "the baby come out of mommy belly and give me hugs" So, Tyler came right over and wanted to hug the baby. He has been really nice to Easton (so far). The first thing he said to him was "Nakey Nakey Easton" he's also offered Easton some Cheetos and has asked if Easton wants to wrestle with him.

Proud Papa! Luke was wonderful support in the hospital with me all day. He is LOVING every second with the little guy.

First sponge bath-

This little guy has been really alert it's been fun to see him explore the new world around him.

My two little boys--I have a feeling that this is going to be a very big adventure for me! But I'm excited. If anyone has advice on the 2 kiddo transition let me know!

Here is Grammy Ileen--Proud Grandma. She, Grandpa Dave, and Megan also took care of Tyler for the day--Thank you!

Angel face.

Here is Easton with his 8 week old cousin Bailey Jane. It's amazing how fast they grow! She is 11 lbs.

Hey there! here is a little quicker of an update (-: I got a new little nephew and niece this week (Emily had a little boy William, and Lauren, my sister, had a cute little girl, Bailey Jane. They are both VERY CUTE and healthy, it's making me anxious for mine (I have 7 weeks to go), I sat in church today, and those metal chairs are EXTREMELY uncomfortable when you're having braxton hicks contractions (-:
Anyway, I'm excited for Thanksgiving and Christmas, it'll be fun to see family and friends. It turned into winter this week, so everyone drive safe! (I worked in ER yesterday (Burley's first snow fall), and the Ice is definitely a threat out there!)

Here are a few of our highlights:
Tyler's painting skills--I think I could clean up all day, and never be caught up...I guess it's good cleaning is not my priority in life, because then I wouldn't have a life.

Tyler's first dance performance (in front of the old folks home)

Tyler (mom and dad) built his first snowman.

Due to a desperate update...(-:

Hello everyone! It's been a while, and a little...ok, maybe a lot has changed in the last 6 months (-: First off, I'm going to have a baby in 8 weeks (Surprise! I'm pregnant!) and it's going to be a little.....guess.....BOY (-: I'm excited to use all my boy stuff again. We're struggling on boy names, so if you have any good ideas please share! Tyler is excited and I think he's going to be a great big brother. (this picture was taken 3 weeks ago, I've definitely grown since then.

I absolutely love this little boy. He says the funniest things these days, every day he makes me laugh, whether he comes up to me crying saying "the couch bit me" or "mommy, I wake up and I happy", or he'll reach up at the stars (at night) saying "mommy, I wanna reach it...I wanna reach it"

A few of Tyler's favorite things: Hide and seek (when it's diaper time), horses, playing with figurines, cooking with mommy, going on walks, eating pancakes, building blocks, bath time (filled with army men), drawing pictures of monsters, and the list goes on

Tyler LOVED going "trick or treating" here he is with my brother Dallin. Tyler started saying to people "thank you, I love you" after they gave him candy, it was quite entertaining.

Daddy and Tyler trick or treating

Daddy and Tyler: Tyler loves his daddy. Usually he'll wake up and ask me, "mom, daddy at work?" and then daddy comes home and Tyler runs up to him saying "my dad! my dad!" and shortly after he says "dad, I wanna wrestle, take my shirt off". Then the wrestling begins (-:

Here's a quick update on our summer. Here are a few highlights:
We introduced tyler to the Zoo

Here's Tyler dancing on the stage at the fair. He's definitely a natural performer don't you think?

We had a family reunion in California this summer for my mom's side of the family. It was over Tyler's birthday, so it was a fun event!

Michele (my little sister) and Tyler at the California beach (-:

Grandpa and Tyler in Disney Land

We also did swim lessons, lots of bike rides and walks, the park, and some kind of adventure every day.

Cheering for the spudman (Luke did the biking) He did great (next year I should try to get in shape to do it too!) Tyler cheered like this for about half an hour.

I'll post again soon(er) than later!
