We are still ALIVE!

Ok, I am in definite need of an update! I’m sure you are very excited to hear what we have been up to the last 4 months… Ok, here we go…
First off, I have somewhat of an excuse for not writing, it’s because I started taking classes toward a master’s degree, and every minute Tyler is sleeping, I do homework. That’s not a very good excuse, but that’s where I have been. The classes have been great so far, I love to learn, and I finished my first semester! Only 8 more to go (-:

Luke is doing great! He started doing P90X (a crazy workout program that you do for 90 days and are supposed to be ripped at the end). He’s been dedicated, he’s keeping busy with work and projects around the house (we are going to finish our garage and paint the bathroom next).

Ok, now for Tyler… He’s a little sponge, he soaks up everything he sees/hears. He’s my little friend and he’s turning into a real little boy. We have so much fun! A few new things with Tyler are:
His Father has discovered his son’s future career (I’m sure he’s not bias…right?)

Tyler may go in to the arts… He actually REALLY loves to draw, paint, and sculpt (play dough). He loves to draw dogs, bubbles, balls, bats, daddy, and bugs.

He is ABSOLUTELY obsessed with reading books. I could read to him for 3 hours and he would be saying “more! More! Choo Choo, Doggie, Monkey…” (meaning he wants to read about trains, dogs…)

He’s SUPER obsessed with Shoes…especially my red high heals…his dad doesn’t really like that(-:

We had Christmas…(is it too late to write that?)

And Easter… (in the house it was FREEZING with several inches of snow)

Lauren got married in December! To her best friend from High School-Devin.

My WONDERFUL little brother Josh went on a Mission last week to Tampa, FL; I am sooooo Proud of him. He’s always been a great example to me; he’s a happy, friendly, and hardworking. He will be an amazing missionary.

We took a trip to independence, MO. It was for my schooling, but we saw some good Mormon sites (this is Liberty Jail Behind Me), and a FASCINATING Art Museum (That's Monet behind Luke).

Maybe Tyler could ALREADY be professional (his artwork looks pretty close to this one!)

Well, that about sums things up! We are happy. But we are ESPECIALLY happy that the weather is warming up. Tyler and I have spent the last 2 days outside and it’s been beautiful. Hope everyone is well! Maybe I’ll try to keep up on the Blogging…Maybe (-:

I LOVE this little boy!

Here are some of Tyler's newest vocabulary words. I love this little boy, he is my friend. Everyday there's a new adventure, everyday he learns something new. Everyday he makes me laugh and smile. I am so grateful for this little boy in our home. He definitely keeps life exciting!

Tyler loves animals. He knows what animals are which, but he prefers to make their animal noises. After all, Woof was his first word.

We're BACK (-:

Hey There! Ok, so it's been 2 1/2 months... but we're still alive and well. Little Tyler isn't so little any more, he's walkin' and talkin' (only the important words "dada, woof woof, vroom vroom, mama, all done). I have a lot of fun with this little friend of mine. I never realized how much I could love being with a little 14 month
old (-:
Luke is doing well and wonderful, at this moment he's vacuuming up Tyler's belly with the vacuum hose (male bonding... I think).
And I am doing the mommy thing, and working one time a week. Lately I got on a domestic kick because I had a lot of produce from our garden,... so it turned in to canning 65 Quarts of Salsa, Marinara, Tomatoes, Apple sauce, pie filling...) I never thought I would be that domestic, it's strangely addicting, I was pretty proud of my canning so I left it out for 1 week to admire it. (-:
Other than all that, We loved Conference, I went to see my family in UT. My sister Lauren is engaged to a great guy, My Brother Jared married a wonderful Girl, We are sad that winter is here, and life is going well!
We got family pics taken, here are my favorites (Tyler looks so sweet, but really, he was a little terror the whole time) Marissa did a great job (-:
